Right now, the LC-MS method has not yet been authenticated by food safety regulation agencies around the world. So, the method cannot take ELISA’s place, and Colgrave’s team is still working on getting this done.

Colgrave and her group did not classify the different beers they examined. For now, it is not viable for people to identify from her research which gluten removed/reduced beer brands are the most harmful to celiac patients. Her team also doesn’t want to name and shame those companies.
