Does Nutrition Have Therapeutic Possibilities for Fibromyalgia Patients?

Researchers are also trying to understand the effects of a poor diet on fibromyalgia patients.

Additional studies examined the effects of exercise weight, and obesity in causing symptoms of fibromyalgia. Recent surveys found that those with FM often have a sedentary lifestyle, higher body mass index, and are more than likely to be overweight or obese. Still, more conclusions prove that obese individuals show a higher pain sensitivity, a prevalence of fatigue and a lower quality of life. Increased FM symptoms have been linked with reduced protein-rich diets, the absence of vegetables in the diet, poor sleep patterns, and depression.
