Five Grains that are Healthy and Safe for Celiac Disease Patients

Beans

Edible beans are one of the most common variations of pulses, which are part of the legume family and ideal for people with celiac disease. Beans are also considered safe for celiac disease patients because they are naturally free from gluten. However, cross contamination in farms may happen. Commonly, farmers grow beans and other grains in rotation using the same planting and harvesting methods, so they utilize the same equipment for doing these. In order to avoid cross-contaminated beans, there should be a label for every bag or can of beans that clearly states it is gluten-free.
