When someone is on a gluten-free diet, they often lack in iron. Since quinoa has a high percentage of protein, it is perfect for those who have celiac disease. It is also the perfect alternative to wheat for them.

  • Complete amino acids- Quinoa is packed with all of the 8 amino acids a human body needs. Although there are supplements that can provide these, it will be better to get them from a natural source.
  • High in fiber- Instead of buying fiber-rich bars or cereals, having a supply of quinoa can give the needed amount of fiber. In every cup of quinoa, it contains a fifth of fiber that a person needs each day.
