Ally's Law: The Restroom Access Act and How It Works

Items for an emergency

For her IBD emergency kit, Mary adds to the customary items one has in the car for emergencies (such as, if you’re away from home and the car won’t start, you’re in an automobile accident, if you slide off the road in a snowstorm, etc.). To these, she adds items to address her IBD should her journey be prolonged, or she is stranded by the weather or any unpredictable circumstances.

Mary includes a small pillbox of medications, bottled water, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and cleansing sanitizing lotion.

Additionally, she packs a first aid kit, Chapstick, and hand lotion. She also includes her cell phone and charger.

To deal with any post-infusion nausea, Mary also takes along candied mints.
