The SPORE Program Receives Grant for Lymphoma Research

The grant

So now that you are aware of what the SPORE program is actually doing, you might be pleased to know that the SPORE program was recently given 12.4 Million in a grant by the National Cancer Institute. The NCI looked at the Mayo Clinic's and Holden Center's 15 year partnership and decided that their projects were important enough to warrant funding. This is not the first time the NCI has given a grant to these organizations. In fact, this is the fourth grant given by the National Cancer Institute to these two hospitals. It just goes to show how important the work they are doing actually is.
