Can Omega-3 Fatty Acids Lessen Multiple Sclerosis Symptoms?

Keeping a good sleeping schedule

Sleep is very important for your health, especially when it comes to inflammation. Good sleep helps boost the immune system and gives you the strength to fight inflammation (and other MS symptoms as well). Doctors recommend at least seven hours of sleep per night, but eight or nine hours is ideal. If you are having trouble sleeping, make sure you are putting away electronics at least 30 minutes before you try to fall asleep (the blue light in most electronics messes with the body's circadian rhythm and keeps us awake). Noise machines can also be very useful in blocking out unwanted sounds that keep you awake.
