Hilary and Jackie is a 1998 movie that is based on the true story of two sisters named Hilary and Jacqueline “Jackie” du Pre, both talented musicians. The story follows Jackie, who is diagnosed with MS at the age of 26 and her relationship with her sister Hilary – all the way from the peak of her career, to her physical downfall from MS, and eventually to her death at the age of 42.
