Though the Food and Drug Administration has nodded its approval for Shingrix, it's not going to be official practice quite yet. Until the Center for Disease Control and Prevention gives it the green light, the recommendations will simply be guidelines. It seems like a no-brainer, though, that soon it will become common practice. Who doesn't want better protection for less risk?
