Target Creates Clothing Tailored to Kids with Autism

This clothing line is not finished

The Cat and Jack line is not yet finished. More clothes are going to be added, including ones with sleeves that can be removed or additional hidden openings. The goal is to create a large variety of clothes friendly to both child and caregiver.

Julie Guggemos, senior vice president of product design and development, had this to say about the product line: “It’s our goal at Target to always make sure we have products that fit our guests’ needs, and all at a reasonable price point. We heard from our guests--and members of our own team--that there’s a need for adaptive clothing for kids that is both fashionable and affordable, so we set out to create exactly that.
