I got diabetes and was told my A1C was 12.0. Do I need to go to the emergency room or is it OK to wait 20 days till my next doctors appointment?

You do not need to go to the ER if you are feeling OK, but it will be a good idea to get seen by your doctor sooner than 20 days.
