• 3 periods in one month

I've had 2 periods in one month (1 at the beginning and 1 at the end of the month) and now I just started again and I just got off the 2nd period like a week ago. What can be the cause of this? I'm worried!

  • OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist)

There are several reasons why this can happen, the most common of which would be some hormonal irregularity this particular cycle. Most of the time this will resolve on its own. However, it is always a good idea to see your GYN doctor and get an ultrasound to look for any physical causes.
