I want to straighten my teeth with lingual braces. Are lingual braces effective?
Yes. But efficient home care is extremely hard to achieve. And if home care is not good enough, you can have bone loss and cavities that can result in loss of teeth. Unfortunately, a lot of people that care about looks are those that did not want to spend the effort to take care
I have seen the end of many lingual braces by many orthodontists. They did not end with removing the braces. They ended with me removing teeth and placing implants.
Hope this helps.
Yes, of course
Yes, lingual braces can be effective for straightening teeth. They are placed on the back (lingual) surfaces of the teeth, making them less visible. However, they may require a longer adjustment period and can be more challenging to clean. It's best to consult with a dentist or orthodontist to determine if lingual braces are the right option for you. Best wishes on your dental journey!
I’ve never done lingual braces. But since Invisalign came out, I have no need to use them or clear braces.
