• Are probiotics helpful in treating GERD?

A friend recently advised me to have a lot of probiotics to deal with my GERD problem. Does it really help? How much or what brand should I take?

Dear Sir,

Probiotics are not very useful for GERD. However, if you are hesitant about using the known medications, we know that Cannabis oil that you would make is very helpful and it has no side effects or medical interactions.

No, probiotics do not help GERD. There are no good studies showing this. Anecdotes from individuals or on the internet are not adequate data.

You need the right evaluation and diagnosis. Probiotics are generally used for irritable bowel syndrome or with use of antibiotics.
