• Bacterial infections

I currently have two employees out of work in my restaurant one due to streptococcus and another employee due to staphylococcus!
Could they have gotten 2 different bacterial diagnoses from contacting the same thing?

Yes there could be different strains of bacteria

These are two different types of infection. A common source is unlikely. The patient with strep should stay out of work for 25 hours while starting an antibiotic. Steph is a very common skin infection. As long as it is covered and under treatment the employee should be able to work.
