Bed bag drainage
I'm paralyzed from the chest down and have a suprapubic catheter installed iny bladder. Can I hook this to a drain to eliminate having to use bag collection?

Yes, a suprapubic catheter can be connected to a drain instead of a drainage bag, using a catheter valve. A catheter valve, a tap-like device, can be fitted onto the end of the catheter and allows you to drain urine directly into a toilet or other receptacle when needed.
