I am bleeding from my vagina and it started yesterday being a brownish color and now it’s starting to be a brighter red. It is not my period and I did take a morning after pill a week prior.

Dear Bleeding At Grand rounds, the professors and residents all agree:

1) A good history and physical exam ( including a thorough Gynecology exam ) required
2) The Pregnancy Tests( urine and blood test) must be done
3) A visit to the Family Physician ( or A free Medical Clinic) As Soon As Possible.

Sincerely Yours, Doctor Bich Le

After you take the morning after pill you can have an irregular cycle. I would monitor bleeding and track. If you have bleeding greater than one pad per hour you should be evaluated.

It could be from the morning after pill. That could change your cycles. Just do a pregnancy test if you are worried.

this is most likely a side effect of the morning after pill you took. If the bleeding gets heavy or doesn't stop you need to see your doctor.
