I will have heart bypass surgery. Can I drink alcohol after heart bypass surgery?

You should be able to drink alcohol after bypass surgery if it is done in moderation. It would probably be best to wait a couple of weeks after surgery before having any alcohol and limit it to no more than two drinks a day
