I am a 29 year old male. I want to know if I can drink alcohol the night before a local anesthetic?

It is better to be well hydrated before surgery and alcohol contributes to dehydration.

Overall, one or two drinks the night prior to a local anesthetic should be safe.  However, it is best to check with the surgeon or provider doing the procedure.  They may want to administer additional medications that could interfere.
