Yes unless instructed by MD not to.
Normally, you are allowed to eat before an MRI in most cases. But in situations where contrast is used or involving certain areas like abdomen and pelvis, you are required to fast to reduce the risk of vomiting and for better visibility of those areas.

MRI scan requires no special preparation unless indicated in your exam preparation
It depends on the type of MRI scan. If you will not receive oral contrast for the exam, you can eat before the exam.
