No. You will have to change your diet and add an iron or vitamin B12 supplement depending on which type of anemia you have.

Anemia has many causes. Our bone marrow continues to make new blood cells. Anemia can be from lack of iron and B vitamins in the diet or from excess blood loss from menstrual cycles, intestinal bleeding. Occasionally a disease process can destroy blood cells. Anemia screening is routinely done at certain ages. Anemia shoyld always be wvaoby your pediatrician to determine the cause and whether treatments are needed.
