Anxiety medication should not cause hallucinations

Very, very interesting question. Anxiety medicines encompass almost all categories of psychotropic medications. It is very unlikely that most people would get hallucinations on most of these medicines. Is it possible that a specific individual might have some unusual predisposition to have hallucinations from a medication? It is possible, but very unlikely. Would strongly suggest asking your personal psychiatrist or psychopharmacologist about your very specific individual circumstances.

All my best,

Most anxiety medications do not cause hallucinations. Doctors may use different classes of medications to help with anxiety depending no how severe your symptoms are. However, there are only a few that could possible cause hallucinations.
