Yes. Chronic knee pain should go away after treatments of acupuncture and massage, along with herbs. The length of time will depend on the severity of the injury and how often the sessions are.

Pain is a symptom of something else going on with your body. To wonder if a chronic, or ongoing pain, will "go away" is to cut short the root cause and jump to a "non answer". Rule out causes of knee pain: arthritis? torn ligaments? eroding cartilage? excessive weight for body frame? Always address the root cause. An ortho doc may be helpful in sorting this out. Be well, stay safe. BK, RN

A lot will depend on why you're having chronic knee pain. Sometimes, yes, a series of acupuncture treatments can resolve the pain. In other cases, a series of treatments will reduce the pain and some level of maintenance may also be required for a patient to remain relatively pain free.
