Acupressure can support but not the treatment.
There are some acupressure points that can help assist with diabetes. Depending on the symptoms you wish to address, daily stimulation of the acupressure points may help address them; acupuncture would be easier. And there are also some aspects of controlling diabetes that are better addressed with herbal supplements: like fenugreek and okra for lowering blood sugars. I don't think so. Acupuncture combined with King herbs would be more effective in treating diabetes. I suggest you try it.

By acupressure? Probably not. By acupuncture? Also unlikely. I'm assuming we're talking about type II diabetes here (i.e. adult-onset driven largely by diet/lifestyle choices) rather than type I diabetes (i.e. juvenile-onset driven largely by genetic factors or early autoimmune disease and requiring insulin injection to manage). If this is the case, the single biggest factor to getting a handle on this disease and, potentially, reversing it is going to be your diet. Acupuncture would be secondary to that and, in my opinion, at least, acupressure is not even on the table.
