Rhinoplasty, or nose plastic surgery, is complex in that the nose is an aesthetic feature. Yet, it has a very important role in our respiratory tract. Any of us who have allergies or sinus problems understand this fact. The physician evaluating a patient for rhinoplasty must get an in-depth history or trauma, allergies, sinus problems, etc and truly understand the anatomy. So, yes, if not done correctly there may be health issues related to breathing problems through the nose, at a minimum. Excellent question.

Your surgeon needs to as you questions about your health conditions to see if there is anything that may cause problems if you want to do a nose surgery. You know I only do aesthetic rhinoplasty. So it's an elective surgery and I do it on healthy people only. I shouldn't cause any health issue but there may be complications as any other surgery. And aesthetically rhinoplasty is one of the most complex one technically and even more so aesthetically. Lot of patients are not happy with the results. So you should really consider doing it if you want to improve the look since it may make you look different than the way you imagine how you want it look.
So to me no heath issues, but expectation issues are more likely.
