I will have sinusitis surgery. Can sinusitis surgery be done with local anesthesia?

These are big cases that requiere protecting what we call the airway. Because they are working on your nose, there is a possibility the patient’s own blood can get swallowed and trigger nausea and vomiting. It is the safest way to protect the airway with a breathing tube
Sinus Surgery calls for General Anesthesia. That’s the safest method, since
a patient should be immobile.
