• Can stents cause irregular heartbeat?

I am a 52 year old male. I want to know if stents can cause irregular heartbeat?

The simple answer is no. I can imagine where placement of a stent could interfere either circulation to the SInus node and atrioventicular node but I’ve never heard of that. So my answer is very unlikely

Stents by themselves do not cause irregular heart beats. The only way that can happen is if the stent is occluded and the blood supply to the heart muscle is cut off. Most patients with stents are placed on some form of blood thinning medicine to avoid clotting.
