Can surgery treat stroke?
My father suffered from a stroke, and his doctor believes that this is because of a blood clot in his brain. Can surgery help him recover?

Not knowing how recent or what stage of the stroke your loved one is in, the answer in general is no. Unfortunately, there is no surgery that will help him recover for the most part.
