I am a 62 year old male. I want to know if you can brush your dentures with toothpaste?

Yes you can absolutely do that. But it is also good to buy denture cleaner tablets and let them soak at least once a week

Continuous use of toothpaste over a long period of time may be too abrasive and scratch your dentures. Use a denture brush. Plain water should be sufficient to keep your dentures clean on a daily basis. Soaking your dentures in a commercial cleaner such as efferdent or polident overnight can also help to keep your dentures fresh and clean. For tough stains that won't come out with plain water, I suggest using powder laundry detergent like "Tide," but only once a week.

Yes, you can. Cleaning dentures with soap and water also works. Plus, get some denture tablets and let your denture soak in it.
