Chest pain after any heart surgery including heart transplant is not unusual and may be a sign of inflammation of the sac around the heart ( pericarditis) if symptoms persist consult your cardiologist.

Chest pain related to your incision is common after surgery.  angina (chest pain) related toblockages in the coronary arteries is unusual 4 weeks after surgery but your physician canevaluate your pain if necessary in a number of ways.
