I want to replace a missing tooth with an implant. Can you get an implant without a bone graft?

Maybe but you need a CB CT scan to measure the height & width of the bone to determine if there is enough bone present for an implant.Alan Singer, DDS

Yes, of course. Best in mind that not all cases require bone grafting. It depends on the person and their unique situation.

Yes you can, but it depends on the quality of the bone in the area where you need the implant.

All of the success of an implant is dependent upon the quality and quantity of your bone. If you have adequate strong and healthy bone then perhaps a bone graft is not indicated. If your bone needs support, then a graft is necessary. Implants are expensive and time-consuming. They should last you a very long time. Do not cut yourself short by not investing in a bone graft if you need one! Hope this was helpful!

Yes, depending on the condition of the extraction site and existing bone.
