All depends on what caused the pain, was it trauma based such as a fall, spraining an ankle, hitting against something? or did it come out of nowhere?

Do you have X-rays? Try Ultrasound and Parphin bath to help with pain but a good pair of orthotics is a great choice. I use Footlevelers in my clinic, the selection offers built in orthotics from sneakers to sanddles to dress shoes. Should be covered under your insurance, always consult with your doctor.

Depends on what the problem is. We have had a lot of success in the past with adjustments to the ankle joint along with some rehab. Also with red light therapy.

We treat ankles. I would be happy to evaluate your problem. If you are not located near me, I recommend you schedule an appointment with a foot and ankle surgeon (podiatrist) for evaluation.

Yes. Any podiatrist can help you with ankle pain. We are specialists in the foot and ankle, and in most states, we can work from below the knee to our toes, so that is our specialty.
