Cataract Surgery
My mom had both eyes cataract surgery on the same day a month ago. However, she is still having irritating pink eyes and white discharges even a month after the surgery. Is this normal?

I don’t ever do surgery on both eyes on the same day so there are some risks that her surgeon needs to discuss with your mom. Discharge is always a little disconcerting but some redness can be absolutely normal. Given the risks with bilateral surgery on the same day I would definitely reach out to her surgeon.
