• Covid 19 shot side effects?

I got my first vaccine from Moderna 6 days ago. This morning I woke up with a bubble in my armpit causing some pain. I called my pharmacy where I received my inoculation and they said it is not a side-effect, I also called the CDC information line but that gave me no answer. I have no insurance to go see a doctor, should I be concerned?

Hi there, I have had this happen to me before with a vaccine, it should go away on its own. Although it was the COVID Vaccine, it was the Monkey Pox vaccine. It sounds like an Arthus Reaction, Ive included an article in this email from the Cleveland Clinic about this. Try icing it for 1520 minutes, make sure you cover the ice pack with a towel or a few layers of paper towels so you dont burn yourself with the ice. Do this 34 times a day if you can tolerate it. This should help with the swelling. Keep an eye on it. It should go away in a week or so. I would be cautious with putting deodorant

Without seeing it’s tough to know. Could be a lymph node and if not dangerous. Unable to know without actually seeing it. Warm compresses on the site 3-4 x daily should help.
