You do not need general anesthesia for a dental implant. It is usually accomplished successfully with local anesthesia and with a skilled practitioner, the surgery can done with no pain.

Not at all! In fact, many of our patients have told us that getting a dental implant was less painful and time consuming than many other more routine dental procedures they've had in the past. Many of our patients are pleasantly surprised.
