• Do I need stitches on a cut I have?

I fell on glass and cut my right knee, I'm in and out of pain. It was an inch long and its two cuts kept bleeding through band-aid.

You need a wound cleansing and exploration under local anesthesia, an X-ray to make sure that there is no foreign material in the wound, and a delayed primary closure of the wound by a Physician competent with treating wounds/contaminated wounds.

Yes definitely

Of course, there’s need for a proper cleaning, stitching and a Tetanus vaccine, if you didn’t have one in the last five years!

Please go to nearest ER to get evaluated and have a tetanus shot just in case. It had dirt in the area and you might need antibiotics also and an eval for stitches depending on depth and if it has been more than 24 hours.
Feel better.
