I have a hemorrhoid and want to remove it. Do you stay overnight for a hemorrhoidectomy?

This should be addressed by a colorectal surgeon.
Typically, it is a day surgery procedure where you go home the same day.
You have to urinate after the procedure. If you do not or have bleeding, you have to stay overnight or several days.
