• Dry scalp, please help

Hi, I need some help so I can know what to do about my scalp. I am a male with long hair, and my scalp is very dry. I have tried washing my hair more often, washing my hair less often, I have changed shampoo and conditioner brands, but nothing seems to help.My entire head seems to be covered in dandruff. I've had this for a couple of months now.

Dry scalp and dandruff can be caused by conditions like seborrheic dermatitis or psoriasis. Try using a medicated dandruff shampoo and avoid harsh products. You can also moisturize your scalp with oils like coconut oil or tea tree oil. If the issue persists, it’s best to consult Irvine Skin for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Hello there! Dry scalp is a common concern and can be due to skin sensitivities, infection, inflammation. Some may flare with weather changes. I recommend see a physician/dermatologist that can evaluate, and if needed, biopsy and diagnose this skin condition so appropriate treatment can be given!
