Try popping your ears, like you are on a plane.

Most likely this is an acute infection of the middle ear {behind the ear drum}. An antibiotic and an antihistamine would be appropriate.

We recommend you make an appointment with an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) physician to evaluate the cause of pain and blockage as you described. In addition, we recommend a full hearing evaluation with an audiologist. Feel free to reach out with any additional questions.

Most likely temporomandibular joint problem. if you are jowling, stop. No gum chewing, no hard candies. Stay on soft foods for awhile. May be grinding teeth in sleep. See ENT to look at your ear, then the dentist for a night guard splint.

You may have an ear infection. I would recommend contacting your primary care physician.
