Excessive gas with IBS
Hi, I’ve had IBS for over 5 years and with it, I’ve also had an excessive gas problem. I also cannot hold my gas in and it causes me a lot of distress and I feel like I can’t live a normal life anymore. Sometimes I don’t even feel it, but people will be covering their noses. Is this some sort of incontinence issue? I had plans to travel to many places, but I’m worried about how I can ever be on a plan if I will have excessive gas that I cannot control. It is ruining my life. Is there anything I could do about this?

Try the Low FODMAP diet to reduce carbohydrates, which are the main source of flatulence.
