• Eye floater after traveling?

So we just got back three days ago from Texas where it was warm and we arrived home in Buffalo where it is colder. I started having a headache as soon as we got back. Which is normal. However yesterday I woke up and my right eye was blurry like it had a floater almost but it’s in the middle of my eye where I can’t read or anything. What is going on?

A complete ophthalmologic exam should be performed.

You need to see an eye care professional immediately to have a dilated fundus exam (DFE) to determine if your retina is intact and to see if there's any bleeding in the area that controls the central vision (macular area). It may just be an ordinary floater that just developed and is non-emergent; however, you won't know until you get a DFE by an eye care professional.

Does not sound like an eye floater. You need a dilated exam ASAP!

You could have posterior vitreous detachment. So, get your eyes dilated to get checked for any retinal breaks, tears, holes, or detachments.
