• Feet swelling?

I am on estrogen patches for fertility treatment. I drank a considerable amount of alcohol for first time on this medication and my feet started to swell. Is this a medical emergency?

That can happen periodically. It can also be diet related if you have a lot of sodium during that time period.

You should notify your fertility provider to see if they think you need to be evaluated. Generally, swelling in both legs is not an indication of an emergency, but swelling in 1 leg can be a sign of a venous thrombosis. It's best to be cautious and ask if you need to be seen.

Could mean anything from heart failure to pre-eclampsia.

Depends, if you have calf redness, leg/calf pain or shortness of breath, you need to be seen in the emergency room. If the swelling resolves in 24-48 hrs then you are good.
Take care!
