How do I know if my son has ringworm?
My son has an odd circular rash on his arm. Could this be ringworm? What does ringworm look like?

May need a skin scrapping for biopsy
It is possible. Most such rashes disappear within a short period of time (days), but some spread and become quite irritating. If the latter happens, you should consult your GP. You can easily find pictures and descriptions of ringworm on the internet. Ringworm is not a worm, as is commonly believed, but a fungal infection.
