Depends on what type of dressing your surgeon put on your ear after surgery. For my patients, I advise them to shower the next day as long as they don't wet the ear dressing. I usually remove the dressing after 5-7 days.
Didn't your surgeon explain all of this to you? Ask him or her for their specific way they do things!
