Hello, usually the nose keeps shrinking for up to two years following a rhinoplasty. However, if the result is so dramatic that you can not wait two years, the minimum time is six months. For further questions or inquiries you may visit my website at DrRoya.com as well. Good luck!

Minor revision can be done after 6 months, however, major revision will require 1-2 years to settle the original procedure. There are issues of scarring and blood supply that we have to deal with.

I would recommend waiting six months to a year to allow everything to settle down. Please make an appointment with a board-certified plastic surgeon.

Usually, the revision is appropriate in one year after the initial surgery, but it depends on a variety of factors. It can be done sooner if there are compelling reasons.

This depends on the part of the nose that needs revising. The tip of the nose takes the longest to heal and most revision surgery for the tip should be done after approximately one year. Revisions involving for the reduction of the bridge could perhaps be done a little sooner for example 9 months. There are many factors that determine the optimum time such as the thickness of the skin, the amount of scar tissue, and the age of the patient. But as a general rule, one year is a fairly safe time for most people, and since you are only 31 years old, and heal rather quickly, one year should be more than adequate for you.

Regards, and good luck,

Revision rhinoplasty can only take place after the initial rhinoplasty surgery is completely healed. Time for complete healing can be up to 12 months. If you are seeking a revision rhinoplasty, you should be certain that you are using a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty.

One year ideally. 9 months if really needed more urgently for deformity.
