I will get a heart stent. How long after the heart stent do you feel better?
Physically, you should feel fairly quickly. Depending if the stent was placed through the leg or the wrist, the access point can cause pain for a brief period of time. The heart, itself should not take long to recover, if the stent was placed for a blockage and not emergently, for a heart attack. Recovering psychologically, however, may take more time. It is quite traumatic to understand that we are mortal and that our heart required intervention.
