I had a dental procedure with a Novocaine injection 2 days ago. The injection site still hurts. How long does a Novocaine injection site hurt?

It doesn’t hurt to all!
If it does.. then may be less than a day
It should not hurt for a long time, shouldn’t hurt beyond few hours. If you have prolonged pain that’s in the days, then need to get it checked out.

The site can be sore for up to a week and be a normal thing. It is a puncture wound and they heal well, but some are quicker to get comfortable than others.
