What type of anesthesia local? General? IV sedation? Local would be a couple of hours. General Should wear off before you leave the surgical facility? So would IV sedation? However, People can still get nauseated And sick at home including vomiting for a day or two. If that continues to happen. For more than 48 hours then call your doctor.

It will depend on what type of local they use.

Typically local anesthesia in the foot lasts several hours, however, this changes with the patient's body chemistry, therefore, it can last an entire day.

It depends on what type of local anesthetic was used. There are short, intermediate, and long-acting anesthetics. Local anesthesia can last anywhere from 3-4 hours to 2 days depending on the agent that was used.

This will depend on what local anesthetic is used. It can last from 2-5 hours. I recommend you discuss with your foot and ankle surgeon for the particular anesthesia to be used in your case
