Neck liposuction is a wonderful, fast solution to removing fat from the neck and contouring the area nicely. It is usually done under local anesthesia and takes less than one hour. Recovery involves wearing an elastic neck garment initially full-time for two days and then at night for another five days or so. Many people have the procedure on a Friday and return to work Monday after the weekend. Modest swelling and bruising usually resolves within days or easily concealed with scarf or clothing.
