To treat sciatic back pain, start with conservative measures such as rest, gentle stretching, and over-the-counter pain relievers. If the pain persists, please consult with a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment plan.

This problem is usually one of three things, 1) pinching a nerve root, 2)sacroiliitis causing a butt muscle spasms which then pinch the sciatic nerve or 3)posterior spine facet mediated pain. All three can be treated with injections but obviously the injections go to different places. Physical therapy can be helpful. Walking in water can be helpful. But it is important to define the exact cause of the pain.
